The client – an international construction company from the USA – applied for the vacancy of a Building Architect, who would develop draft designs in the USA market. The main task of specialists in this position is the design of residential buildings. You need to find 3 specialists.

The requirements for the candidate were:

  • Specialist in engineering and technical education of the leading universities of Ukraine;
  • Profile work experience of 1-2 years;
  • Working knowledge of ArchiCAD/ AutoCAD/ Revit/ Sketchup.
  • Knowledge of English;
  • Attentiveness, purposefulness, perseverance;
  • Ability to work in a team, friendliness;
  • Ability to imagine and create multiple versions of a single project.

The plan for the implementation of this project was standard, proven and working. We used the cold search method, received high-quality responses, then organized a 6-stage selection of candidates. We collected a portfolio of finalists and sent it to the leader and manager of the customer company for review. Next – the candidates were interviewed by the security service.

During the selection process, the requirements from the customer were changing several times, but as a result of analysis and negotiations, they came to an important decision: to divide the position of an architect into an architect and a visualizer. This decision helped to select the ideal candidates for the position, who were 100% in line with expectations.
